BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Damitri's main research interests lie in Molecular Pathology, particularly in Breast Cancer Research, involving clinical, in vivo, and in vitro studies. He has been granted funding from USM, national, and international organizations. Dr. Damitri also supervises MSc, PhD, MMED, and MPath students from Malaysia and other countries. Apart from his research and supervision duties, he is also involved in teaching and community activities.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Damitri has a keen interest in teaching and research. He teaches medical students in Chemical Pathology, focusing on lipids and nucleic acid metabolism. Additionally, he teaches entrepreneurship courses tailored for the medical field. In his research, Dr. Damitri primarily focuses on breast cancer & diabetes Type 2 studies, particularly biomarkers utilizing metabolomic and microRNA analysis, bioinformatics, and the use of artificial
