BIOGRAPHY
Dr Shahida currently balances clinical practice, undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, and translational clinical research. Her clinical expertise focusing on head and neck cancer, OSA and Allergic Rhinitis. An active contributor to peer-reviewed journal (JBCS, VJEM & MJMHS) welcomes academic partnerships, industry collaborations, and prospective postgraduate research students.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
1) Head & Neck Cancer: My primary research focuses on oral tongue cancer, specifically investigating post-treatment swallowing function and functional recovery following brachytherapy (HyBIRT Protocol). 2) Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA): I have authored research and published articles on OSA. 3) Allergic rhinitis: I strive to advance evidence-based, functional patient care through rigorous clinical research.
