BIOGRAPHY

I obtained my BSc Health (Hons) in Biomedicine from the School of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2003, and PhD in Anatomy from the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2008. On November 2008, I began working as a lecturer at my alma mater, the School of Health Sciences, USM, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2019. I teach gross anatomy and histology of different organ systems to undergraduate students.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My major research interests are on bone metabolism, osteoporosis, anatomy, and natural product. Primarily on in vitro study into how natural products affect osteoblast, osteoclast, and osteosarcoma.
