BIOGRAPHY
He is a microbiologist with academic training from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and the University of Tasmania, where he earned his M.App.Sc. and Ph.D. in Microbiology. His expertise includes microbial ecology, agricultural, aquatic and marine microbiology, with research focusing on microbial diversity, gut-associated microbes, antimicrobial natural products, effective microorganisms, microbial ecology and Vibrionaceae.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Microbial communities and diversity; gut microbes associated with fish, shrimp, marine animals, barn owl and bats and their productivity; endophytic fungal extract and natural products that have potentials for antimicrob; Effectives microorganisms in soil and plants and its potential for agriculture productions; Vibrionaceae and their impact to the environments.
