BIOGRAPHY
He received his Ph.D from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). His research interest focuses on social work in housing settings, social well-being, social policy, social development, and urban poverty. In addition, he teaches International Social Work, Philosophy, Values and Ethics in Social Work, Community Work, and Group Work. Currently, he was appointed by the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development as Magistrate Advisor.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Recently, he has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Asian and Pacific Association for Social Work Education (APASWE). He is also active in sports, former football, hockey, and cricket state player. In 2014, Dr. Haizzan had been invited by Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, USA as visiting scholar.
