BIOGRAPHY
Khairudin Mohamed graduated his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, Malaysia in 1995. He received M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in engineering (nanotechnology) from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2005 and 2009, respectively. He has vast experience in semiconductor industry prior to his current position in academic and research.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Khairudin Mohamed’s research interests are focused on the nanofabrication, nanomanufacturing and automation. At USM, he leads the Nanofabrication and Functional Materials (NFM) research group. He has graduated 10 Phd and 7 MSc students. He also involved in a number of community engagement and SDG "Zero Poverty" projects where he provides many upscaling solutions for traditional farmers.
