BIOGRAPHY

Yen received his PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2012. His primary research areas include machine vision and its applications, image processing and analysis, and pattern recognition. He is a Professional Engineer (PEng) registered in Malaysia and a Chartered Engineer (CEng) in the United Kingdom. Currently, he serves as a lecturer at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Yen focuses on challenges in machine vision, particularly in measurement and inspection tasks. His research spans diverse fields, including industrial and agricultural applications, aiming to advance vision automation and deliver innovative solutions.
