BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Mohd Hafiidz Bin Jaafar is an academic at Universiti Sains Malaysia specialising in Occupational Safety and Health, ergonomics, and environmental risk assessment. His work integrates engineering, public health, and social perspectives in addressing workplace and environmental risks. He leads research on WMSDs, chemical health risk assessment, indoor air quality, and safety governance, applying interdisciplinary and systems-based approaches.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
His research focuses on interdisciplinary integration in occupational and environmental risk management. He studies ergonomics, WMSDs, exposure assessment, and industrial safety systems while incorporating social, behavioural, and governance dimensions into technical frameworks. He applies biomechanical modelling, motion capture, and risk analysis to develop holistic, systems-based prevention strategies for sustainable safety performance.
