BIOGRAPHY

Dr MNAzmi graduated from the University of Malaya in 2011 with BSc. Applied Chemistry and MSc in Natural Products. In 2012, he continue his PhD. under Co-tutelle Program between University of Malaya-Ecole Polytechnique. In 2015, he joined Prof Khalijah's team as HiR Research Assistant and on May 2016 to join Yvan Six's team as a postdoc at Ecole Polytechnique. August 2016, he returned to Malaysia and started his own research team at USM.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Our research group are focusing on Natural Products Chemistry and Synthesis Organic (NPSO). In the Natural Products domain, we have worked on both Malaysian forest plants and traditional medicine. The plant studied covers those from the families of Lauraceae, Meliaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Myristicaceae, Apocynaceae, Rubiaceae and Zingiberaceae. Recently, we have performed SAR Study, Molecular Docking and total synthesis of NP.
