BIOGRAPHY
I am a medical physics lecturer in the Medical Radiation Programme, School of Health Sciences, USM. Since 2014, I have taught medical radiation physics courses covering fundamental physics topics and coordinated industrial training for medical radiation students since 2021. I have also involved in the school committee for technical evaluation (2019-2021), postgraduate studies since 2022 etc., and served as the advisor for PSSCM USMKK since 2022.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research applies physics principles, methods and instrumentation to medicine and healthcare, with a focus on: (1) clinical application of radiomics—computational methods and instrumentation for medical image analysis and quantification (SPECT, MRI, X-ray, CT images etc.); and (2) technological development in biophotonics—optical and photonic devices for radiation detection, biosensing, diagnostics, and therapy.
