BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Noorfatimah Yahaya is an Associate Professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia, specializing in analytical chemistry. She has a strong background in separation science and method development for detecting contaminants and pharmaceuticals. Her work in green chemistry and microextraction techniques has earned international recognition.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Noorfatimah's research focuses on developing innovative microextraction techniques and adsorbent materials for detecting environmental pollutants, pharmaceuticals, and contaminants. She integrates green chemistry, using deep eutectic solvents, magnetic solid-phase extraction, and electrochemical methods. Her work includes studying molecular interactions in complex matrices and improving sensitivity and selectivity in analytical methods.
