BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Nor Zakiah Binti Yahaya is a Senior Lecturer at the Physics Section, School of Distance Education, USM. Her research focuses on microwave absorbers, medical physics, and carbon-based materials. She is also active in STEM outreach and lifelong learning, and served as Physics Program Chair (2016–2021).
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Nor Zakiah Binti Yahaya’s research interests focus on the development and simulation of microwave absorbing materials, optoelectronic materials, and carbon-based composites for energy and sensing applications. Her work also explores the integration of sustainable materials in medical physics and the enhancement of electromagnetic and optical properties through material engineering.
