BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Nor Safira Elaina's interests focus on developing automated models that use artificial intelligence methods, such as machine learning and deep learning, to analyze electroencephalography (EEG) and MEG data for diagnosing and predicting the prognosis of neurological and psychiatric disorders, including TBI. She is also interested in developing EEG-based models for brain-computer interface (BCI) applications to improve neurosurgical recovery.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Predictive modeling (machine learning and deep learning (transformers-based model)) for biomedical signals (EEG, MEG, ERP, deep brain stimulation (DBS)). Computer Vision and Image Processing (automated tumor segmentation).
