BIOGRAPHY

Anis Shahirah Abdul Sukur is particularly interested in the areas of media translation, translation pedagogy, translation quality assessment, and transediting—fields that are increasingly relevant in today’s globalized and digital communication landscape. Her work explores how translation is not just about language transfer but also about cultural negotiation, audience sensitivity, and adapting content for different media formats.
