BIOGRAPHY
I teach university-level courses in Molecular Genetics and Cancer Cell Biology and I love helping students connect foundational science to real-world medical applications. For nearly ten years, I’ve conducted molecular cancer biology research focused on identifying practical biomarkers to help detect cancer early. My work combines molecular and genetic precision medicine approaches to support accurate diagnosis and tailor treatments to patients.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My current research investigates the mechanistic pathways of lipid metabolism in cancer cells, with a particular focus on how these pathways intersect with obesity-related cancer development. Central to this study is the role of apolipoproteins and their associated signaling networks in driving cancer progression. This work aims to contribute to the broader understanding of obesity-linked cancers in Malaysia and beyond.
