BIOGRAPHY
My research focuses on vulnerable populations, especially disabled children to understand their unique dietary needs and challenges. Additionally, I explore dietary supplements for managing chronic diseases like kidney disease and diabetes. By bridging research and practical applications in clinical and community settings, I strive to develop effective nutritional interventions for high-risk populations.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am currently studying feeding problems in children with ASD in Kelantan and exploring how autism severity, nutritional status, and parenting stress are connected. Besides, I am leading a multicenter community-based RCT on the effects of Sacha Inchi oil supplementation in type 2 diabetic patients with chronic kidney disease. This study aims to uncover the potential benefits of functional foods in improving kidney function and metabolic health.
