BIOGRAPHY

Dr Sasidharan, former Deputy Director at INFORMM (2019–2021), is a distinguished expert in Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology. His groundbreaking research on medicinal plants has significantly advanced evidence-based medicine, earning high citations. An editor for Pharmacognosy Magazine, he was honoured as a Top Research Scientist Malaysia (TRSM) in 2022 by ASM and ranked among the top 2% of global scientists (2019–2023) by Stanford University, USA.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Sasidharan’s research focuses on harnessing medicinal plants and green technologies for therapy and diagnostics. His work includes green antimicrobial and anticancer solutions, miRNA regulation, antioxidants, and anti-ageing agents for healthy ageing. He is developing green intelligent wound patches for enhanced healing and diagnostics and exploring green nanotechnology with carbon dots for drug delivery and cancer therapies.
