BIOGRAPHY

Dr Sasidharan, previously Deputy Director at INFORMM (2019–2021), is a distinguished expert in Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology. His pioneering research on medicinal plants has significantly advanced evidence-based herbal medicine, earning high citations. An editor for Pharmacognosy Magazine, he was honoured as a Top Research Scientist Malaysia (TRSM) in 2022 by ASM and ranked among the top 2% of global scientists (2019–2024) by Stanford University

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Sasidharan’s research explores medicinal plants and green technologies to develop innovative therapeutic strategies. His research advances medicinal plants as one-stop bioactive reservoirs using green technologies for anticancer and related disease solutions. His current focus is on plant-based theranostic approaches using green carbon dots, integrating diagnostics and targeted cancer therapies within sustainable nanomedicine frameworks.
