BIOGRAPHY

Currently an Associate Professor at the School of Health Sciences teaching subjects related to Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. My research interest is the regulation of gene expression and protein functions focusing on choline kinase enzymes family and their involvement in cancers. I am also the coordinator of Master in Biomedical Science (mixed mode) program since 2019 and the member of USM biosafety committee.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My main interest outside of work is sports ranging from Badminton, running, hiking etc. My other interests include charity works including free tuition and mentoring of school children.
