BIOGRAPHY
I am a senior lecturer at the School of Chemical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). I earned a BSc (Hons) a degree in pure chemistry (first class honours) from USM, followed by a PhD degree from the same university, where I focused on synthesis strategies in organic chemistry. My interdisciplinary research spans across bioorganic chemistry and functional materials.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
1. liquid crystals (neutral and ionic) 2. bioactive ionic liquids 3. photo responsive materials.
