BIOGRAPHY

An Associate Professor and Consultant Pathologist with subspecialty expertise in breast and endocrine pathology. She obtained her MD (USM) in 2002 and MPath (Anatomic Pathology) in 2011, with advanced subspecialty training in Queensland, Australia (2015) and Imperial College of London (2019). She is a national referral expert and currently leads Cancer Research & Oncology and the Breast Cancer Awareness & Research Unit at USM

RESEARCH INTERESTS

She is the Head of the Cancer Research and Oncology Cluster USM, leading translational and precision oncology research with a strong focus on breast cancer. Her work spans cancer prevention, early detection, biomarker discovery, multi-omics profiling, and AI-driven diagnostics. Key research includes targeted gene sequencing, national HER2-low studies, transcriptomic profiling, liquid crystal thermography, and AI applications in breast cancer.
