BIOGRAPHY
Before joining USM, I held positions as a lecturer of policy studies at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and as a teaching fellow at Universiti Putera Malaysia (UPM). Additionally, I worked as a research officer and later as a research associate at the Academy of Professors Malaysia (APM).
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests encompass China-Southeast Asia relations, United States-China relations, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), and Contemporary Politics of China. I am currently expanding my research on the BRI to include countries in the Greater Mekong Subregion, such as Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
