BIOGRAPHY
An aquaculture researcher with a global network of collaborators, specializing in aquaculture nutrition and the physiology and biochemistry of fish and crustaceans. Was a recipient of the Fulbright Scholar and the Australian Endeavour Award. Possess a decade of leadership experience as director of the Center of Chemical Biology. Presently the Chief Editor of Tropical Life Science Research and on the Editorial Board of Reviews in Aquaculture.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Alignment of aquafeed development with the metabolism of target species, with the endeavour of promoting the growth, feed efficiency, health, and post-harvest quality of aquaculture species. Mainly nterested in the nutrition of polyunsaturated fatty acids, with a passion for translating the fundamental knowledge of metabolism in fish and crustaceans to sustainable practices.
